We have been asked share the following message, by the BCP Educational Psychology Service:

Due to a significant increase in demand for Education Health and Care Needs Assessments and Education Health and Care Plans the BCP Council Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is experiencing delays in completing Educational Psychology (EP) assessments. Our Educational Psychologists are prioritising EP assessments according to need and to maintain national performance standards in relation to statutory Education Health and Care processes as above. We understand delays can be frustrating and ask for your patience and support at this time.

As always, if you have questions on your statutory rights, the EHCP process and its statutory timescales, or if you need further support on anything else SEND related, you can contact SENDiass4BCP for information, advice, and support.
