SENDiass4BCP have a big Thank You to say to Thomas Simpkin, who is running his first marathon in a couple of weeks – and is raising money for our team while doing so.

In his own words: “In a couple of weeks’ time, I’m going to attempt my first marathon in aide of raising money for an organisation very close to my family’s heart which is SENDiass4BCP.
SENDiass4BCP are a desperately underfunded department of BCP Council who in a nutshell provide educational support and advice to children with special educational needs and disabilities (and their families) across the whole of BCP area.

SENDiass4BCP have provided me and my family a huge amount of support with my son Zachary who as many of you know has delayed development to ensure that not only can he go to mainstream school but also has the support in place to allow him to thrive in school rather than drown.

If you wish to give a few £’s to an underfunded and overstretched organisation that helps children with special educational needs and disabilities thrive in education, please donate using the link below where you will also find the full story.

We are happy that we were able to support Thomas and Zachary, and very grateful that he is choosing to raise money for us. I hope you will join us in wishing him strong legs, and a following wind for his first marathon!
